ORAH – A beautiful village in the hinterland of Nikšić’s Gornji Polje and its most famous part Vidrovan, which quenches the thirst of the town of Nikšić with its far-famed water. Once rich in walnut trees, after which it got its name, our village is located on green slopes that will take you northeast towards Vučje and Krnovo, and northwest towards Piva, Tara and Durmitor. In the center of the village, which bears the epithet of the sunniest part of the municipality of Nikšić, is hidden the Bataković rural household, which bears the name Agrotourism “Đed Radoš”. It got its name from one of its ancestors who, as a famous stone cutter or mason, incorporated both his name and our surname into the centuries-old tradition of stone processing in Nikšić and Montenegro. His traces, as well as those of his ancestors, remain embedded in the beautiful buildings of the Emperor’s Bridge, Nikšić and Ostroh monasteries and many other toponyms that make our city different and timeless. He, an American from Pečalbar and a warrior from Skadar, was great for our family, persistently preserving and building customs and every inheritance of the Bataković family, and that is why our household bears his name.

Agrotourism “Đed Radoš” is our fairy tale in the framework of which we have combined everything that we produce on our estate, what we dream of and what we live with, with our family, Nikšić and Montenegrin traditions in order to preserve the heritage and as such we share it with all of you and again hand it down to posterity…
That’s why with us you will drink excellent welcome brandy made from plums, dogwoods, apples or vines, cherry or dogwood liqueur and specially prepared from walnuts! You will refresh yourself with home-made apple, grape, dogwood, raspberry, elderberry, mint juices and sweeten with sweet plums, quinces or wild strawberries…
