Welcome to the Kapetanov Konak (Captain’s Inn) – a hidden oasis on the shore of the Captain’s lake!
Their story is deeply rooted in the family tradition of cattle breeding and agriculture. During the winter they live in the idyllic village of Rovac, while in the summer they move to the shores of Captain’s lake, in the magical place of Lukavica. The youngest of seven brothers, Goran, felt the desire to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is how the idea of the Captain’s Inn was born – a combination of tradition and rural tourism. Although the word “konak” means inn they offer more than that – they bring a real feast of local specialties!
Their restaurant is a place where you can enjoy local products. They proudly point out that they offer the best kacamak (polenta) in Montenegro as well as the pie that their mother, Milanka (78), prepares with love. And when delicious food makes you want to stay longer, they also have accommodation for you. So what more could you want?
